Ford changed the wiper switch in 1967 68 and reverted to a manual foot pump. The wiper switch on a 66 has seven wires coming out the back. Pressing the foot pump squirts the windshield and turns the wipers on as long the pump is depressed. Use them with all due caution. After releasing the foot pump the wipers either return to the park position if the switch was off or stay running if the switch was at low or high speed. These are all connected to wiper switch with a plastic connector and can only fit on the switch one way.
